Dtef makes things of audio and visual nature. His work involves hypnotic and sometimes, but not always, synesthetic noise. Sometime in the past he found a computer that could make sounds with the press of buttons. It was then that he realised the importance of buttons and endless times in dark and isolated studios.

Although his background was in electronic music, his encounter with a projector led to another quest. A quest of bringing computers and projectors together. He practiced audio-visual arts in Edinburgh for sometime, until he found out there are some serious problems surrounding this field. As a result a new quest was started. This time with game engines and multi-channel/multi-screen compositions. Now, he works and researches these things at the University of Edinburgh.
